Why We Built This Site
Colorado permits public access to many court records, but the correct custodian depends on the product. The free Judicial Branch search is a hearing calendar. An authorized vendor can provide a charged register of actions, while the Clerk of Court, El Paso County Combined Court / Fourth Judicial District supplies official case records and certified copies. Municipal clerks keep city ordinance files. We bring the verified contact details, case-number patterns, official links, and request steps together while keeping each channel's limits clear.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in El Paso County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to use the official hearing calendar, an authorized ROA vendor, or the combined-court clerk
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Colorado court, clerk, city, county, or state agency. Our role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power the search boxes on some pages. They control their services, prices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set the provider's charges, keep its search database, or determine which records it returns.
